We are pleased to announce that Glenn Godfrey has been promoted to be the Director of Professional Services for Freeland Systems.
Glenn Godfrey has been fascinated by technology since the early 90s. While working in a photo lab during high school, Glenn found his passion for computers and technology. He was dedicated to mastering photo editing, and he learned how to overcome software crashes through hardware troubleshooting. After working in the photo lab, Glenn was involved with production graphic design. He then realized that his interests were in networking and computer hardware.
When Glenn entered college, he was a biology major. He then changed his major to computer science after working as a computer repair technician. He graduated in 1998 with a computer science degree, and he has been working in the field ever since.
After working for several large organizations, he joined Freeland Systems in 2005 as the Software Deployment Manager. When reflecting on his time at Freeland, Glenn says that “it has been an amazing experience working for Freeland Systems. I am surrounded by so many fun and talented people, including my coworkers and our customers. I’m very excited about the direction of our company, which encompasses industry-leading technologies to deliver a product line that is focused on reliability and committed to patient care.”
Glenn currently lives with his wife and their two children in Denver, CO. He met his wife while living in Charleston, SC. They relocated to Portland, OR before moving to Colorado in 2003 so that she could attend pharmacy school. They love outdoor activities, including snowboarding, camping, and dirt biking. His two sons, ages 3 and 6, keep him busy when he is not working.
